August 6–7, 2025, the Texas African Chamber of Commerce (TXACC), in partnership with Energy Power & Capital and other leading stakeholders, proudly hosted the U.S.-Africa Energy Forum (USAEF) 2025 at the Post Oak Hotel in Houston, Texas.
From July 16 to 18, 2025, the Texas Africa Chamber of Commerce (TXACC) proudly participated in the Invest Zambia International Conference in Lusaka, Zambia. The U.S. delegation was led by His Excellency Chibamba Kanyama, Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia to the United States.
Houston proudly hosted the 8th Annual Africa Day Celebration, a vibrant gathering attended by elected officials, business leaders, and community advocates. This event continues to strengthen Houston’s deep ties with Africa, reflecting a rich legacy of unity, cultural pride, and economic collaboration.
May 22, 2025, a Texas Africa Chamber of Commerce delegation gathered at the Texas State Capitol in Austin to strengthen ties between Texas and Africa. Under the theme "Bridging Africa & Texas – One Connection at a Time," the visit fostered meaningful discussions on legislative collaboration, business expansion, and cultural exchange.

TXACC organized a trade mission to Malawi, Zambia, and Burkina Faso aiming to explore opportunities for collaboration in ICT, infrastructure, mining, telecommunications, energy, and agriculture sectors.
In partnership with the Houston Growth Forum, hosted the Ambassador of Malawi in Houston.
Held official meetings with the Presidents of Angola, Liberia, and Botswana, as well as ministerial delegations from Zambia, Malawi, Lesotho, Sierra Leone, Uganda, and others during the U.S.-Africa Business Forum.
Hosted the Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) and the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Zambian Embassy in Houston.
Participated in the U.S.-Africa Business Forum hosted by President Joe Biden in Washington, D.C., engaging with African heads of state and business leaders.
Participated the Houston-African Energy Summit under the leadership of Sylvester Turner, Mayor of Houston to host more than 20 African Minister of Energy.
Hosted the Houston-Niger Business Forum with the presence of Nigerien President Mohamed Bazoum, the First Lady, and members of his cabinet.
Conducted a trade mission to Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana, meeting with the Presidents of Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Niger, and the Vice President of Nigeria, along with prominent business leaders.
Hosted the Houston-Ghana Business Forum with the presence of Ghanaian President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his delegation, including ministers.
Official launch of TXACC in Houston, attended by African diplomats from Washington, Sylvester turner - the Mayor of Houston, U.S. Congress members, and Houston business leaders.
